Three young gentlemen were fighting. The names are Tybalt, Mercutio and Romeo. At first they weren’t serious at all. But then things got a little out of hand and then they were serious fighting. I think that Tybalt was at fault for this whole thing because Mercutio was just sitting there minding his own business and then Tybalt has the guts to go over to the fountain that he was in and insult him. So Mercutio played back and was teasing. So then they were fighting and Romeo jumped in front of the fight to break it up. Mercutio was stabbed in the chest under Romeo’s arm. Mercutio blamed Romeo for dying. Everyone thought he was playing, when he wasn’t, so they were just messing around with him. Until he actually died, they realized he wasn’t joking. Then Romeo went after Tybalt after he killed Mercutio. Those two were fighting for death and they wouldn’t stop until someone actually died. A lot of people were making the fight worse by just egging it on. Then Romeo stuck up his sword and Tybalt fell on it not realizing it was there. I don’t think Romeo should get blamed for this because he was just doing it for self-defense.
